Wells Fargo Center is a multi-use indoor arena situated in the city of Philadelphia, the state of Pennsylvania. The arena had different names including First Union Center, CoreStates Center and Wachovia Center. The capacity of the arena ranges between 20,318 seats for NBA and NCAA, and the other sports including NLL and NHL have a capacity of 19,537 seats.

The construction of the arena completed in 1996, and the teams for which it is home relocated from the Spectrum. The building of the center cost approximately 0 million mainly privately financed with a slight help from the state. The owner of the arena is Comcast Spectacor, and the Global Spectrum manages it. The center is located in the southwest corner of the South Philadelphia Sports Complex.

When being built, the CoreStates Bank purchased the naming rights in a deal of million over 21 years. And because of several bank mergers, the contract has been changed different times once by the First Union Bank in 1998, and the next in 2003 by the Wachovia, and later in 2010 by the Wells Fargo. The NHL team Philadelphia Flyers takes the arena as home o their games in addition to the NBA team Philadelphia 76ers as well as NLL team Philadelphia Wings, without forgetting the arena football Philadelphia Soul.

The attendance record of the arena was reached in 2010 in an indoor hockey game between Chicago Blackhawks and Flyers. The game of the Stanley Cup Final was attended by 20,327 and the winner was the Blackhawks. And the record of a college game in the venue was reached in 2006 in a game between University of Connecticut and Villanova University that won the game, and the attendance reached 20,859.
